Is every automatic cover a safety cover?+
No. Safety wording belongs only to models and configurations tested against a recognised specification such as ASTM F1346, with documentation to show for it. Ask for the documents for the exact quoted configuration — we treat that as a normal request, not a difficult one.
Does a cover replace a fence?+
Treat the cover as an added layer over whatever barriers the destination requires, not as a licence to remove them. Requirements differ by country and project type; verifying them stays with the buyer and its local contractor.
Can someone walk on the cover?+
No. Whatever load a test standard demonstrates, no cover should be treated as a walkable surface, and we do not present cover area as usable deck.
How is unwanted access prevented?+
The operating switch is a lockable, permanently mounted control — key or code — positioned with full view of the pool, so the cover cannot be opened casually by a child or a passer-by.
What about rain or washing water on top of the cover?+
Standing water on a closed cover is a real hazard for anything on the cover, and a load the system was not meant to carry indefinitely. A cover pump handles it; in the Gulf the frequency is low, but the specification still belongs in the order.
Is a manual cover a safety barrier?+
A loose manual cover is a water- and dust-control product, not a barrier. If safety is the expectation, the conversation is about tested, tracked, lockable configurations from the start.
